Integrated IR infrared sensors allow numerous operations (for example tare, the transmission of the result of a printer or the selection of a particular process, etc.) that can be performed hands-free, simply by moving a hand over the sensor. The body of the scales is made of plastic and the weighing plate is made of stainless steel.
